HCBS EBD Basics 2020

Description

Video Program with former CDPHE Surveyor Laura Neill.  Attendees will learn skills and tools necessary to apply State Standards in day-to-day operations of an HCBS-certified non-medical home care agency with a focus on Volume 8 requirements, P&P, Employee and Client Records, Supervision, Personal care do’s and don’ts.  Learning objectives include:

Understand the different waiver types and which waivers require separate certifications.

Recognize the Volume 8 requirements that are reviewed in the survey process. •

Understand the different services available under each waiver.

Have an understanding of the do’s and don’ts of personal care under Volume 8.
