Consumer Rights


The Consumer Rights course is about certain basic protections for a home care client’s basic safety, freedom of choice, access to
information, and right to submit grievances and complaints. Consumer rights call for all direct care personnel to be informed and engaged in the assurance of patients’ care.

Ultimately these rights are in place to ensure that consumers receive quality care.
Training all personnel about policies on consumer rights is foundational for several important outcomes, including
